This weekend, January 4 & 5, I will be hosting a Bowie themed brunch at the City Beer Hall in downtown Albany. Come out and enjoy some great food and giveaways, and of course I’ll be playing some nice cuts of David Bowie’s from all eras throughout the event.

This Friday, my latest solo photo exhibition Deciduous will be opening in Castleton-on-Hudson as part of the village’s Second Friday events. The nine photo set grips with the fuzzy, warm, baseless 10-20 day period in between the end of summer and the beginning of fall. It’s when we all tell each other we’ve had enough of this heat. It’s when we get out the slow cookers and put on our coats again. It’s quiet, cold mornings and the warmest sunsets. The opening reception featuring an exclusive audio presentation of Lowden’s SQU-030 is Friday, October 11 at 52 South Main Street in Castleton from 6-8 pm. Kick off your weekend with some thoughtful crit over sharp cheese at Deciduous.

Ppl are agape at what amounts to how Manhattan actually looks like today.
I’m having a great summer so far, have spent much time outdoors, I finally bought a hookah from the helpful folks at That Store on Lark Street in Albany. Here she is on the shore of the Hudson river as an Amtrak engine thunders past.

I want to make a music video before school starts in late August! SO BAD! If any local group of any genre needs a video, or if you’re coming through the area next month to play a show, send me the song you see a video to, and we will make it happen. I’ll shoot your live performance, we’ll intersperse it with a story, we’ll make something really nice. Email me! I made a half dozen of them between 2012-15 and, wow, four years go by quick!
